Following a couple of setbacks with the project in 2016, I have struggled to find the time required to dedicate to the project around my ‘day job’ role at HarveyDavid and voluntary work with the American Institute of Roman Culture.
As such, in February 2017 I arrived at the decision to close down Bristol #PROSPECTUS to allow me to focus on the aforementioned ventures.
The legacy of Bristol #PROSPECTUS for me personally is two-fold; in creating and growing the project I was afforded many incredible opportunities (highlights being part of the team that got 10,000 people to A Park on Park Street one sunny Sunday afternoon, and being invited to the Houses of Parliament to celebrate the power of independent business), which led directly to where I am now in life, both personally and professionally.
I also met some amazing people, many of whom I am now good friends with, and will continue to be so with for many years to come.
I am immensely grateful to everyone who was involved in, and supported the project over its 4-year lifespan. Special thanks go to:
- Jake Johnson
- Maxwell Waltzer
- Frances Cooley
- Dreadnought Books
- Back in Action
- Amanda Kerin
- Spoke & Stringer
+ everyone else involved!
